What is mediation,
and is it right for you?

Welcome to Ardent Online Mediation Services! Mediation, also known as Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), is a voluntary and confidential process where a neutral third party helps individuals or groups resolve disputes without the need for formal litigation. Unlike going through attorneys or the court system, mediation allows both parties to communicate directly and collaboratively, with the mediator facilitating productive dialogue and helping to find mutually agreeable solutions. It is a less formal, more flexible approach to conflict resolution that can often lead to faster outcomes, saving time and money. Mediation also fosters a more cooperative environment, empowering participants to maintain control over the resolution rather than having a judge or lawyer make decisions for them. One of the main benefits of mediation is that it encourages creative, win-win solutions that might not be available in a courtroom. It also preserves relationships, making it ideal for disputes in families, businesses, or communities. With its lower costs, faster process, and higher satisfaction rates, mediation is often a preferred alternative to traditional litigation. Let us help you find a resolution that works for everyone involved!

About me.

Hello!

My name is Cheryl, and if you have found yourself here, you are likely in some type of dispute. Whether that is a potential divorce, or needing to create or amend a custody agreement, or maybe you are having an issue with a Real Estate agreement gone wrong. Whatever brought you to meI understand firsthand the toll that conflict can take. Having been through two contentious divorces myself, I know what it’s like to face years of stress and mounting legal fees while trying to resolve a dispute through attorneys. It was through mediation that I finally found a way to end the back-and-forth litigation and move forward.

This experience, combined with my 13 years of experience in negotiation and contract writing as a real estate broker specializing in residential real estate, development, and construction, has given me a unique perspective on dispute resolution. In addition to familial disputes, I also offer alternative dispute resolution services specifically tailored to real estate conflicts, helping parties navigate issues such as property disputes, contract disagreements, and development challenges.

My extensive background in negotiations and contracts allows me to facilitate clear, effective conversations and find common ground even when emotions run high. I am passionate about helping people resolve disputes efficiently and amicably, particularly in family situations where there’s a need to create a new path forward. Whether it’s helping individuals and families resolve conflicts or supporting them through transitions, I am dedicated to facilitating solutions that allow people to move on with clarity and peace of mind.
